The pee pads have completely improved my life with 2 pups in an apartment! With disposable pads, they wrestled with them and then tore them up and rarely peed on them. Now we have one pad in their room and one pad on the balcony - no mess, no cleaning up. I pop the pee pads in the washing machine each day and put another pair out. I wake up in the morning to no cleaning or gathering up torn up disposable pads and urine-soaked floor! Fabulous! So civilised!
